I'm currently splitting my time between leading the Technical Communications team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and pursuing my love of creative writing. I recently finished my first novel, Why I Hate Birds, and hope to get it published.

When I’m not writing stories, I write and edit technical documentation for Federal Reserve Financial Services. I transitioned to technical writing after eight years on the Fed’s National Marketing team, where I wrote customer communications and led the online Fed360 publication. While in Marketing, I received my Master of Science in Communication at Northwestern University.

Before coming to the Fed, I earned my Bachelor's degree at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, majoring in Honors English with Creative Writing Emphasis and minoring in Mathematics. I also spent much of my time editing and writing for our student newspaper, The Kenyon Collegian.
